7:33pm – Meeting was called to order – Pledge of Allegiance & Conservation pledge<\/p>\n
Introduction of Officers<\/strong>: Stephen Gustkey- Pistol, Mike Cumberland-President, Jim Hacke- Secretary, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, Mike Ripley- Jr. Rifle\/Black Powder and Tom Horstman- Trap.<\/p>\n Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Jon read treasurer\u2019s report.<\/p>\n Bills and Communications<\/strong>: Received check for $100 from the Boy Scout Troop 33 as another appreciation for letting them use the club for a weekend stay.\u00a0 Jon Hiser paid $3180 for the new zero turn mower that was purchased for the club.\u00a0 Jon also reported that the CMP renewal is almost complete and ready to send in.<\/p>\n Pop: <\/strong>Steve reported that any income from last months pop with be going back in to purchase new stock.<\/p>\n Rental Committee Report:\u00a0 <\/strong>$900 was turned in from last months rentals.\u00a0 Upcoming: Iron Mountain will be at the club April 4th<\/sup>, 11th<\/sup>, 18th<\/sup>. Annual Frolic will be on March 25th<\/sup> . The PA Constables will be at club on April 28th<\/sup>, 29th<\/sup>, 30th<\/sup> . There is a range rental on April 12th<\/sup> . Pistol team’s banquet will be April 22nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n Pistol Team<\/strong>: Stephen took in $184, kept $54, turned in $130 to the club.\u00a0 They have 3 indoor matches left with their sectional matches coming up on March 17th<\/sup>, 18th<\/sup>, 19th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n Trap Team: <\/strong>Butler trap league will be starting on March 29th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Moraine is looking for people to shoot for them.\u00a0 If interested please contact Tom Horstman with any questions or to get a new schedule for upcoming season. Trap range open every Tuesday evening starting at 5pm for practicing.\u00a0 $3.50 per 25 targets.\u00a0 Open to public.<\/p>\n Black Powder<\/strong>: Mike turned in $18 from the meat shoots.\u00a0 Annual Frolic coming up on March 25th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The trail shoot will be from 10am \u2013 1pm.\u00a0 Paper target shooting to follow around 1pm \u2013 5pm.\u00a0 Happy hour social in club to follow $7.00 for dinner.<\/p>\n Junior Rifle Team<\/strong>: Junior rifle is still shooting in 2 separate groups.\u00a0 Advanced shooters on the 1st<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> Tuesday of the month and beginners on the 2nd<\/sup> and 4th<\/sup> Tuesday of the month.\u00a0 Any adults willing to help are appreciated.<\/p>\n Archery:\u00a0 <\/strong>Still looking for any members willing to join together to make a team to practice.<\/p>\n Fun Indoor Shoot: <\/strong>Dickie turning in $140 from last months shoots.<\/p>\n Membership<\/strong>: Brian read new memberships and collected $590 of which $65 to maintenance fund and $525 to general fund. He reported 57 new members for 2017 which brings total of 417 Sr, Life and Charter members. Total membership is 577.<\/p>\n Old Business: <\/strong>After reviewing 4 bids for replacing the club’s leaking boiler it was voted on to go with the company Fresh Air to do the work. \u00a0The club did purchase a new zero turn mower.\u00a0 Still working on getting new lights for the indoor range.<\/p>\n New Business: <\/strong>The old zero turn mower will be up for sale to all club members very soon.\u00a0 We will be holding a silent auction starting at $800.\u00a0 Pictures will be posted and bidding will be done thru email.
