These are the items that were discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lifetime memberships will be $350 and $100 for spouse starting in 2027.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7:34 pm \u2013 The meeting was called to order.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction of Officers<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary\/Trap, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder(absent), Al Vogan- Rifle, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership(absent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bills and Communications<\/strong>:&nbsp; Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rental Committee Report:<\/strong> &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pistol Team<\/strong>: &nbsp;The summer league has started.&nbsp; They shoot on Thursdays at the outdoor pistol range starting at 2 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trap Team:&nbsp; <\/strong>Next practices will be on July 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 28<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; Practices will be $5 for 25 birds.&nbsp; They will continue every other Tuesday from 5 pm till everyone is done shooting.&nbsp; Open to the public.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>:&nbsp; Any flintlock or percussion muzzle loaders with open sights may be shot for scores.&nbsp; The trail shoot will be on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday of each month and begins at 11 am.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong>&nbsp; The fun shoot is on break till later this year.&nbsp; The indoor .22 rifle fun shoot is on Monday mornings around 9 am.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rifle:<\/strong>&nbsp; Al took in $161, expenses were $10, and he turned in $151. &nbsp;July 12th will be the next 100-yard egg shoot. &nbsp;July 26th will be the next 200-yard gong shoot.&nbsp; Shooting begins at 9 am and will run until 3 pm or until everyone is done.&nbsp; These events are open to the public.&nbsp; Any .22lr rifle configuration is welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership<\/strong>:&nbsp; &nbsp;Brian took in $90, maintenance fund $10, and to the general fund $80. Key cards were $0.&nbsp; The total membership is 600, of which 461 are senior\/life charter members.&nbsp; There are 73 new members for 2026. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Old Business:<\/strong> &nbsp;Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business: &nbsp;<\/strong>Will need to replace the culvert pipe between the main hall and trap fields.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good of the Association:&nbsp; <\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Thank You to all who volunteer their time at the club, running events, and maintaining the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7:59 pm \u2013 Meeting adjourned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moraine Conservation and Sportsman\u2019s Club Meeting Minutes June 8, 2026 7:00 pm \u2013 The board of directors met before the general membership meeting.
