These are the items that were discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discussed our 2027 dues, hall rentals, and range rentals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dues for 2027 will increase $10, hall rentals starting in January will be $250 for members and $400 for non-members, the outdoor range rentals will increase to $200 per day.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7:33 pm \u2013 The meeting was called to order.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction of Officers<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary\/Trap, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Al Vogan- Rifle, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bills and Communications<\/strong>:&nbsp; Chris paid for the new chairs that came to the amount of $1,297.44.&nbsp; $114.99 was paid for mower repairs and gas.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rental Committee Report:<\/strong> &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pistol Team<\/strong>: &nbsp;The summer league has started.&nbsp; They shoot on Thursdays at the outdoor pistol range.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trap Team:&nbsp; <\/strong>Practice night will start on June 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.&nbsp; Practices will be $5 for 25 birds.&nbsp; They will continue every other Tuesday from 5 pm till everyone is done shooting.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>:&nbsp; The meat shoot on Mother\u2019s Day had a low turnout.&nbsp; The number of shooters just covered expenses. &nbsp;Any flintlock or percussion muzzle loaders with open sights may be shot for scores.&nbsp; The trail shoot will be on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday of each month and begins at 11 am.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong>&nbsp; The fun shoot is on break till later this year.&nbsp; The indoor .22 rifle fun shoot is on Monday mornings around 9 am.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rifle:<\/strong>&nbsp; Al took in $248, expenses were $0, and he turned in $248. &nbsp;June 14<sup>th<\/sup> will be the next 100-yard egg shoot. &nbsp;June 28<sup>th<\/sup> &nbsp;will be the next 200-yard gong shoot.&nbsp; Shooting begins at 9 am and will run until 3 pm or until everyone is done.&nbsp; These events are open to the public.&nbsp; Any .22lr rifle configuration is welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership<\/strong>:&nbsp; &nbsp;Brian took in $105, maintenance fund $10, and general fund $95. Key cards were $0.&nbsp; The total membership is 598, of which 459 are senior\/life charter members.&nbsp; There are 71 new members for 2026. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Old Business:<\/strong> &nbsp;Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business: &nbsp;<\/strong>If anyone has access to old conveyor belt that could be used for target holders at the rifle range please let Al know or just leave up by the garage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good of the Association:&nbsp; <\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7:59 pm \u2013 Meeting adjourned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moraine Conservation and Sportsman\u2019s Club Meeting Minutes May 11, 2026 7:00 pm \u2013 The board of directors met before the general membership meeting.
