These are the items that were discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There will be some changes to the rifle range bench area later this year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dakota from Clean Crusader is back to cleaning the hall again.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7:33 pm \u2013 The meeting was called to order.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction of Officers<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary\/Trap, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Al Vogan- Rifle, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bills and Communications<\/strong>:&nbsp; Chris paid the spring taxes amounting to $898.38.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rental Committee Report:<\/strong> &nbsp;April 18<sup>th,<\/sup> the hall is reserved. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pistol Team<\/strong>: &nbsp;&nbsp;Joe took in $242, had expenses of $142, kept $30, and turned in $70 to the club.&nbsp; Joe announced that the Moraine pistol team won their indoor league. &nbsp;&nbsp;The summer league has started.&nbsp; They shoot on Thursdays at the outdoor pistol range.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trap Team:&nbsp; <\/strong>Practice nights will start again on Tuesday nights sometime in May.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike took in $530, expenses were $275, he kept $75, and turned in $180 to the club.&nbsp; Mike said there were 39 people who attended the frolic.&nbsp; Any flintlock or percussion muzzle loaders with open sights may be shot for scores.&nbsp; The trail shoot will be on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday of each month and begins at 11 am.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong>&nbsp; Barry turned in $155.&nbsp; The indoor .22 rifle fun shoot is on Monday mornings around 9 am.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rifle:<\/strong>&nbsp; Al took in $269, expenses were $20, and he turned in $249. &nbsp;May 9<sup>th<\/sup> will be the next 100-yard egg shoot. &nbsp;May 31<sup>st<\/sup> will be the next 200-yard gong shoot.&nbsp; Shooting begins at 9 am and will run until 3 pm or until everyone is done.&nbsp; These events are open to the public.&nbsp; Any .22lr rifle configuration is welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership<\/strong>:&nbsp; &nbsp;Brian took in $450, maintenance fund $25, and general fund $405. Key cards were $20.&nbsp; The total membership is 596, of which 457 are senior\/life charter members.&nbsp; There are 66 new members for 2026. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Old Business:<\/strong> &nbsp;Brian said that the rear door latch was adjusted again and should be working.&nbsp; Please report if you experience any issues getting into the rear door.&nbsp; Mike had purchased and delivered 50 more chairs for the main hall.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business: &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good of the Association:&nbsp; <\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8:07 pm \u2013 Meeting adjourned.<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moraine Conservation and Sportsman\u2019s Club Meeting Minutes April 13, 2026 7:00 pm \u2013 The board of directors met before the general membership meeting.
