These are the items that were discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Looking into purchasing a few more chairs for inside the hall.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possible need for a new cleaning service for the hall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7:31 pm \u2013 The meeting was called to order.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction of Officers<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary\/Trap, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Al Vogan- Rifle, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bills and Communications<\/strong>:&nbsp; Chris paid the Erie Insurance bill amounting to $5,933.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rental Committee Report:<\/strong> &nbsp;April 18<sup>th,<\/sup> the hall is reserved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pistol Team<\/strong>: &nbsp;&nbsp;Joe took in $361, had expenses of $194, kept $50, and turned in $117 to the club.&nbsp; The winter league is coming to an end. &nbsp;&nbsp;April will start shooting outdoors again.&nbsp; They usually practice on Wednesday afternoon if anyone is interested in joining them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trap Team:&nbsp; <\/strong>The winter league brought in $2,773, expenses were $2,381, kept $117, and turned in $275 to the club.&nbsp; Practice nights will resume in late spring. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike took in $130, expenses were $50, he kept $20, and turned in $60 to the club.&nbsp; Mike said the Frolic will be on March 28<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; It will begin around 9 am.&nbsp; They will have lunch at the cabin and awards around 4 pm.&nbsp; No trail shoot in March.&nbsp; Any flintlock or percussion muzzle loaders with open sights may be shot for scores.&nbsp; The trail shoot will be on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday of each month and begins at 11 am.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong>&nbsp; Barry turned in $200.&nbsp; The indoor .22 rifle fun shoot is on Monday mornings around 9 am.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rifle:<\/strong>&nbsp; Al took in $233, expenses were $20, and he turned in $213. &nbsp;On March 29<sup>th<\/sup>, there will be a 200-yard gong shoot.&nbsp; On April 10<sup>th<\/sup>, there will be a 100-yard egg shoot. &nbsp;On April 26<sup>th,<\/sup> there will be a 200-yard gong shoot.&nbsp; Shooting begins at 9 am and will run until 3 pm or until everyone is done.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership<\/strong>:&nbsp; &nbsp;Brian took in $1,485, maintenance fund $180, and general fund $1,305. Key cards were $90.&nbsp; The total membership is 576, of which 443 are senior\/life charter members.&nbsp; There are 54 new members for 2026. &nbsp;February will be the last month to renew your membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Old Business:<\/strong> &nbsp;Pistol team ordered some parts for the interior exhaust fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business: &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good of the Association:&nbsp; <\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8:06 pm \u2013 Meeting adjourned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moraine Conservation and Sportsman\u2019s Club Meeting Minutes March 9, 2026 7:00 pm \u2013 The board of directors met before the general membership meeting.
