These are the items that were discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Voted on letting the Pennsylvania Beekeeper Association use the hall to host their monthly meetings.\u00a0 They will be once a month for ten months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 signs were ordered to be hung around the perimeter of the property behind the ranges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7:34 pm \u2013 The meeting was called to order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction of Officers<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary\/Trap, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Al Vogan- Rifle, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bills and Communications<\/strong>:&nbsp; Chris paid out $804.36 for a new lime spreader that was purchased for the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pop: <\/strong>Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rental Committee Report:<\/strong> &nbsp;Oct. 19<sup>th<\/sup> and Nov. 2<sup>nd,<\/sup> the hall is rented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pistol Team<\/strong>: &nbsp;&nbsp;The winter league will begin on Sept. 25<sup>th<\/sup> and shoot on Thursday nights from 2 pm till approximately 8 or 9 pm. &nbsp;&nbsp;They usually practice on Wednesday afternoon if anyone is interested in joining them.&nbsp; Joe said the team painted all the exterior doors of the hall.&nbsp; They also cleared some overgrowth around the outdoor pistol range.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trap Team:&nbsp; <\/strong>The next trap shooting practices will be on Oct. 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 28<sup>th<\/sup>. from 5 pm till dark.&nbsp; The winter trap league will begin on Nov. 2<sup>nd<\/sup> from noon till about 4 pm.&nbsp; Anyone is welcome to still shoot practice during the league.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike reported 11 shooters for the trail shoot.&nbsp; He brought in $110, expenses were $60, he kept $15, and turned in $35 to the club.&nbsp; The monthly trail walk shoot is back!&nbsp; Any flintlock or percussion muzzle loaders with open sights may be shot for scores.&nbsp; The trail shoot will continue on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday of each month and begins at 11 am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Junior Rifle Team<\/strong>:&nbsp; Looking for anyone interested in leading junior shooting classes.&nbsp; Contact Mike Ripley if interested.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archery:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong>&nbsp; The indoor .22 rifle fun shoot is on Monday mornings around 9 am.&nbsp; Barry turned in $220.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rifle:<\/strong>&nbsp; Al took in $221, expenses were $16, and he turned in $205. On November 15<sup>th<\/sup>, there will be a low-light 100-yard steel egg shoot starting around 5:30 pm.&nbsp; Sight-in time will begin earlier.&nbsp; If the weather doesn\u2019t permit to shooting on the 15<sup>th,<\/sup> it will be moved to the following Saturday.&nbsp; Oct. 26<sup>th<\/sup> is the next 200-yard stee gong match from 9 am till 3 pm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership<\/strong>:&nbsp; &nbsp;Brian took in $355, maintenance fund $40, and general fund $315. Key cards were $10.&nbsp; The total membership is 596, of which 453 are senior\/life charter members.&nbsp; There are 49 new members for 2025. It is time to renew your membership for the year 2026.&nbsp; February will be the last month to renew your membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Old Business:<\/strong> &nbsp;The 100-yard rifle backstop has been extended for rimfire use only.&nbsp; If you are using anything other than a .22 caliber gun, please continue to use the original backstop with the black belting.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business: &nbsp;<\/strong>Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good of the Association:&nbsp; <\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8:10 pm \u2013 Meeting adjourned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moraine Conservation and Sportsman\u2019s Club Meeting Minutes October 13, 2025 7:00 pm \u2013 The board of directors met before the general membership meeting.
