These are the items that were discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discussed an option of a divider for the kitchen to hall windows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discussed making sure the club was ready for the upcoming hall rental.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7:30 pm &#8211; Meeting was called to order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Introduction of Officers<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary\/Trap, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder(absent), Al Vogan- rifle, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bills and Communications<\/strong>:&nbsp; Chris paid $5,798 for the club\u2019s yearly insurance.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pop: <\/strong>No report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rental Committee Report:<\/strong>&nbsp; May 12<sup>th<\/sup> through May 15<sup>th<\/sup> Butler County Adult Probation, May16th and 17<sup>th<\/sup> hall rented, pistol range rented on May 26<sup>th<\/sup> from noon &#8211; 4 pm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pistol Team<\/strong>: &nbsp;Joe turned in $58.&nbsp; Joe reported that the Moraine pistol team had won their indoor league. &nbsp;&nbsp;The outdoor league will resume at the end of May on Thursday nights from 2 pm till dark.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trap Team:&nbsp; <\/strong>Trap shooting practices will resume on May 13<sup>th<\/sup> and 27<sup>th<\/sup> from 5 pm till dark.&nbsp; Practices will continue to rotate every other Tuesday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>:&nbsp; No report.&nbsp; There is a meat shoot on the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday of every month.&nbsp; The shoot starts at 11 am and is open to members and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Junior Rifle Team<\/strong>:&nbsp; Looking for anyone interested in leading junior shooting classes.&nbsp; Contact Mike Ripley if interested.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archery:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong>&nbsp; No report.&nbsp; The fun shoots happen on Mondays. Doors open at 9 am, with the first shoot starting around 10 am.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rifle:<\/strong>&nbsp; Al turned in $200. Al said there was a winning shot on the cold bore challenge.&nbsp; The winner received $56 but decided to donate his winnings back to the club.&nbsp; Al used the money to make a few shooting bench improvements. &nbsp;The current cold bore challenge is up to $34 and continues to grow.&nbsp; The next 100-yard steel egg shoot will be held on June 8<sup>th<\/sup>. &nbsp;The next 200-yard steel gong match will be held on May 24<sup>th<\/sup> and June 29th.&nbsp; Shooting begins around 9 am and continues till about 3 pm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Membership<\/strong>:&nbsp; &nbsp;Brian took in $55, maintenance fund $5, general fund $50. Key cards were $10.&nbsp; The total membership is 579, of which 440 are senior\/life charter members.&nbsp; There are 30 new members for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Old Business:<\/strong> &nbsp;Jim volunteered to get some prices on a couple flagpole options. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Business: &nbsp;<\/strong>Al cleaned out underneath the railroad tie bridge heading out to the 100-yard rifle backstop. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good of the Association:&nbsp; <\/strong>&nbsp;Heather Stewart was mentioned once again in the local newspaper for setting another state archery record.&nbsp; The club is proud to recognize Heather for her achievements by hanging the article inside the club for all to read.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7:55 pm \u2013 Meeting adjourned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>7:00 pm \u2013 The board of directors met before the general membership meeting.
