7:30 pm – Meeting was called to order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Introduction of Officers<\/strong>: Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary\/Trap, Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder(absent), Al Vogan- rifle, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bills and Communications<\/strong>: Chris paid $5,798 for the club\u2019s yearly insurance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Pop: <\/strong>No report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rental Committee Report:<\/strong> May 12th<\/sup> through May 15th<\/sup> Butler County Adult Probation, May16th and 17th<\/sup> hall rented, pistol range rented on May 26th<\/sup> from noon – 4 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Pistol Team<\/strong>: Joe turned in $58. Joe reported that the Moraine pistol team had won their indoor league. The outdoor league will resume at the end of May on Thursday nights from 2 pm till dark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Trap Team: <\/strong>Trap shooting practices will resume on May 13th<\/sup> and 27th<\/sup> from 5 pm till dark. Practices will continue to rotate every other Tuesday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>: No report. There is a meat shoot on the 2nd<\/sup> Sunday of every month. The shoot starts at 11 am and is open to members and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Junior Rifle Team<\/strong>: Looking for anyone interested in leading junior shooting classes. Contact Mike Ripley if interested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Archery:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong> No report. The fun shoots happen on Mondays. Doors open at 9 am, with the first shoot starting around 10 am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Rifle:<\/strong> Al turned in $200. Al said there was a winning shot on the cold bore challenge. The winner received $56 but decided to donate his winnings back to the club. Al used the money to make a few shooting bench improvements. The current cold bore challenge is up to $34 and continues to grow. The next 100-yard steel egg shoot will be held on June 8th<\/sup>. The next 200-yard steel gong match will be held on May 24th<\/sup> and June 29th. Shooting begins around 9 am and continues till about 3 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Membership<\/strong>: Brian took in $55, maintenance fund $5, general fund $50. Key cards were $10. The total membership is 579, of which 440 are senior\/life charter members. There are 30 new members for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Old Business:<\/strong> Jim volunteered to get some prices on a couple flagpole options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n New Business: <\/strong>Al cleaned out underneath the railroad tie bridge heading out to the 100-yard rifle backstop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Good of the Association: <\/strong> Heather Stewart was mentioned once again in the local newspaper for setting another state archery record.
