Introduction of Officers<\/strong>: Mike Cumberland- President, Chris Smith- Treasurer, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary(absent), Joe Urish- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap, Tom Fischer- Appointed by the membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong>: Chris read the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bills and Communications<\/strong>: Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pop: <\/strong>Steve turned in $16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rental Committee Report:<\/strong> August 24th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pistol Team<\/strong>: Joe reported the summer league has begun. Every Thursday night from 2pm till dark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Trap Team: <\/strong>Tom has stepped down as the trap department president. Jim Hacke was nominated to fill his position. Practice nights on every other Tuesday have resumed. August 13 is next night to shoot. Shooting starts around 5 pm. It costs $4 for a round of 25 clay targets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Black Powder \/ Meat Shoots<\/strong>: Nothing to report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Junior Rifle Team<\/strong>: Looking for anyone interested in leading junior shooting classes. Contact Mike Ripley if interested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Archery:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fun Indoor Shoot:<\/strong> Nothing to report. The fun shoots happen on Mondays. Doors open at 9 am with the first shoot starting around 10 am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Rifle:<\/strong> Al took in $119, expenses $0, and turned in $119. Al will host a steel egg shoot at the 100-yard rifle range for .22 caliber rifles on June 30th<\/sup>, July 28th<\/sup>, and August 25th<\/sup>. Shooting will begin around 10 am. Al is hosting a bench paper match shoot to be held on June 12th<\/sup>, July 10th<\/sup>, and August 14th<\/sup> from 1 pm to dusk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Membership<\/strong>: Brian took in $45, maintenance fund $5, general fund $40. Key cards were $0. The total membership is 601 which consists of 461 senior\/life charter members. There are 47 new members for the 2024 year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Old Business:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n New Business: <\/strong>Mowing repairs and fuel. The Butler Abate chapter asked if they could use the club on September 14th<\/sup> to host a toy Christmas run to raise money for charity. A motion was made and accepted to let the use the club. A reminder to please clean up after yourselves when using the outdoor range.
