Meeting Minutes July 8, 2019
7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:
7:30 pm – Meeting was called to order
Introduction of Officers: Mike Cumberland- President, John Hiser- treasurer, Mike Ripley- Black Powder/Junior Rifle, Tom Horstman- Trap, Steve Gustkey- Pistol.
Treasurer’s Report: John read the report.
Bills and Communications: Two checks consisting of $100 and $150 were turned in for range rentals.
Pop: Steve turned in $11.
Rental Committee Report: July 13 rental?
Pistol Team: Steve announced the state shoot is less than a month away. He is looking for help in the kitchen on August 30, 31. The pistol team will be shoots on Thursdays, outdoor starting at 5 PM. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.
Trap Team: Tom took in $346.50, kept $50, turned in $117. Practice on Tuesday cost $3.50 per round of 25 targets. Anyone is welcome to come and shoot.
Black Powder: Mike had nothing to report. 2nd Sunday of each month 11:00 am are the meat shoots (Black powder, closest to bullseye).
Junior Rifle Team: Mike had nothing to report.
Archery: Eric Beveridge and his boys will be working on building an outdoor archery range this summer.
Fun Indoor Shoot: Nothing to report. They normally shoot every Monday 10 am-till shooting is done, doors open at 9 am. Everyone is welcome. .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.
Membership: Brian took in $45, key cards $0, maintenance fund $5, general fund $40. 41 new members for 2019, 426 senior life/charter members, 586 total club members.
Old Business: Thanks to Tyler Doyle for fixing some of the 100 yrd rifle range.
New Business: Kris Rhodeberger is offering to help build a new dirt retaining wall at the 100 yrd backstop. He will ask for help when he is ready to do the work.
